What happened: The Atlanta Hawks and Kenneth Nugent are partnering on the Score For Scholarships campaign throughout the regular season. The program contributes $3 to the Hawks Foundation for every point the franchise scores.

Why it matters: Every offensive outing directly builds the foundation's scholarship fund across the 2026-27 campaign. Saturday's contest against the Houston Rockets closed at a 121-114 final, adding 114 points to the season tally as Atlanta moved to 2-1.

By the numbers: Houston Rockets 121, Atlanta Hawks 114 (Final). Game-high scorer Jalen Johnson recorded 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 16 assists.

What to watch: The cumulative donation total will continue to grow with each game on Atlanta's regular-season schedule.
