What happened: Negotiations between the WNBA, NBA, Golden State Valkyries, Atlanta Dream and Atlanta Hawks extended into Sunday without a finalized site or tipoff time for Game 6 of the WNBA Finals, sources told ESPN. The official Finals schedule continues to list the Game 6 location as to be determined.

Why it matters: Resolving the Game 6 logistics requires multi-league coordination with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks to navigate arena availability during the opening week of the NBA regular season. Golden State's postseason run through the WNBA semifinals and into a sixth Finals game has pushed the championship calendar into late October.

What to watch: The WNBA and participating franchises must finalize a venue and tipoff window for Game 6.
