What happened: Kevin Durant recorded his first points of the 2026-27 preseason on a drive to the basket. He curled around a screen and finished off the window through a foul for an and-1 play.

Why it matters: The conversion marks the initial on-court action of Durant's Year 20 campaign. Preseason minutes provide an opportunity to establish conditioning and rhythm ahead of the regular season.

What to watch: Durant will continue ramping up his activity over the remainder of the exhibition schedule.
