What happened: Mulkey took a courtside seat in Atlanta ahead of the 8 p.m. ET tipoff for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals. Reese entered the home matchup following a 30-point, 16-rebound performance in the previous game.

Why it matters: Reese captured the 2026 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year award and reached the championship series six months after a midseason trade. Mulkey has made regular trips to watch her former collegiate standouts at the professional level, including attending a July matchup to support her former LSU stars.

By the numbers: Reese posted 30 points and 16 rebounds in her prior outing to become the youngest player in WNBA history to record those numbers in a game.

What to watch: The Finals series continues in Atlanta as Reese looks to build on her interior production in Game 3.
