What happened: Kris Dunn knocked down a three-pointer off a pass from DG during Sunday's regular-season action. The perimeter make continues an active opening week of the 2026-27 campaign for the veteran guard recently tabbed to start at shooting guard.

Why it matters: Dunn entered the 2026-27 season on a newly guaranteed contract finalized on June 30 after establishing winning as his benchmark for the year. Reliable catch-and-shoot production alongside backcourt ball-handlers helps solidify his spacing value in the starting rotation.

What to watch: Dunn will look to sustain his outside shooting efficiency as the early 2026-27 regular-season slate continues.
