What happened: The Los Angeles Lakers are shifting toward an identity built around Luka Doncic. Kelly Iko examined that shift away from Lebron James for Yahoo Sports Daily.

Why it matters: The direction defines roles and usage with Doncic as the focal point. It frames the upcoming stretch, starting while the scheduled Denver game has not started.

What to watch: Watch how the rotation and on-court responsibilities align around Doncic once play begins. The Denver matchup is the first reference point.
