What happened: Detroit Lions added OT Blake Miller, who started over 50 games at right tackle for Clemson. Schefter reports this solidifies Pro Bowl OT Penei Sewell's planned move from RT to LT. The positional shuffle bolsters Detroit's offensive line depth post-draft.

Why it matters: Sewell, an elite RT, thrives at LT per coaching staff, improving blindside protection for Jared Goff. Miller's proven RT experience stabilizes the right side amid Taylor Decker's free agency. This enhances Lions' Super Bowl odds in a competitive NFC North.

By the numbers: Blake Miller: 53 starts at RT (Clemson 2022-25), 85.2 PFF grade. Penei Sewell: 3x Pro Bowl, 89.1 PFF pass block win rate (2025). Lions O-line ranked 4th in pass block win rate (2025 season). Super Bowl (up pre-draft).

What to watch: Monitor Lions OTAs for Sewell-Miller chemistry and Miller's adaptation to NFL speed.
