Liverpool, PSG agree in principle on £120m Barcola deal

What happened: David Ornstein reports that Bradley Barcola’s move is being finalized after an overnight breakthrough. Final details between the clubs remain to be settled.

Why it matters: The agreement would give Liverpool a 23-year-old winger before Tuesday’s transfer deadline. PSG lowered its initial valuation of roughly £145m to unlock negotiations.

By the numbers: Barcola joined PSG in 2023 for a reported £38.6m. The proposed £120m package is more than three times that fee.
