What happened: Luka Doncic used a ball fake and euro-step drive to collapse the perimeter defense before delivering a no-look pass to the corner. He also connected on a stepback jumper during his six-minute scoring burst.

Why it matters: The playmaking sequence extends a productive regular-season start for Doncic, who recently launched a full-court heave and continues to force opposing defenses into double-teams off the dribble.

What to watch: Opposing defenses face continued pressure to contain both Doncic's stepback perimeter shooting and his drive-and-kick passing as the regular season progresses.
