“It was my fault the turnover happened, and so I was like, ‘Man, I can’t let them score.’” Congrats to Luke Kornet on b Via @NBA on X

What happened: Luke Kornet earned NBA ID Fan Favorites Block of the Year for the 2025-26 season. He said the turnover was his fault and he refused to allow a score on the ensuing possession.

Why it matters: The honor is decided by fan vote for the 2025-26 season. It banks a defensive credential for Kornet entering the 2026-27 preseason.

What to watch: Preseason continues ahead of the 2026-27 campaign with frontcourt rotations still settling.
