Lynx sign former Fever guard for playoff run

Minnesota waived a guard to clear the roster spot.

What happened: The contract is a rest-of-season hardship deal. The newcomer last played in the WNBA with Indiana in 2025, when a fractured right foot ended her season.

Why it matters: The move adds veteran backcourt depth during the FIBA World Cup break. The pause gives Minnesota time to integrate its new guard before the postseason.

By the numbers: Minnesota is 31-9 with four regular-season games remaining.

What to watch: The Lynx return Sept. 18, nine days before the playoffs begin.
