Mike Macdonald said that Sean Payton was threatening to accuse the Seahawks of cheating after the team scouted plays fro

What happened: Seattle staff compiled training-camp clips posted by fans on X for preparation. That effort totaled 100 fan posts reviewed by the team.

Why it matters: A public cheating threat between head coaches invites league scrutiny even without a formal complaint. It also spotlights how open-source fan footage now feeds NFL preparation.

By the numbers: Seattle is 2-0 following a 31-7 win over Arizona. Preparation effort involved 100 fan posts compiled by staff.

What to watch: Watch whether Payton responds publicly and whether the league addresses the claim.
