What happened: The bench selection gives Reus another league honor within a week. He previously made the full Team of the Matchday on Sept. 8 after scoring an 11th-minute penalty in a 2-1 win.

Why it matters: It is the second league honor in seven days for Reus, extending a productive September run. Repeated weekly recognition is a useful marker of form as the MLS regular season moves deeper into its stretch run.

What to watch: The next weekly honors release will show whether Reus can turn this bench nod back into a starting XI selection. His next league outing will determine whether the streak of recognition continues.
