What happened: Mike Conley moved into the top 20 on the NBA's all-time 3-pointers made list on Monday night. The veteran guard reached the perimeter milestone during regular-season action to secure his place among the league's all-time outside shooters.

Why it matters: The milestone adds another longevity mark for Conley, who opened his 20th NBA season this fall. His steady outside shooting provides proven perimeter spacing as the roster manages its early-season backcourt rotations.

What to watch: Conley continues his 20th campaign as the rotation settles its backcourt minutes in upcoming regular-season play.
