Mike Evans (Achilles) did not practice again today and team isn’t ruling him out yet, but safe to say he is not moving a Via @VicTafur on X

What happened: Per Vic Tafur, the veteran receiver is moving noticeably worse than he was at the same point last week, and Matt Barrows noted he also carries a ribs designation. Evans exited before halftime in Monday night's 23-17 win after sitting out practice the prior week.

Why it matters: San Francisco has already ruled out pursuing a major receiver trade while managing Evans' recovery. That places extra Week 7 pass-catching responsibility on George Kittle alongside Brandin Cooks, signed Oct. 1, and Christian Kirk, both of whom Kittle said looked sharp in Thursday's session.

What to watch: Friday's practice participation and final injury report will determine whether Evans is available on a managed workload in Week 7.
