What happened: Head coach Mike LaFleur and quarterback Jacoby Brissett held their Wednesday midweek press availability. Addressing the passing game, LaFleur stated that Brissett remains QB1 and declined to pin the unit's recent miscues on one player.

Why it matters: Publicly affirming the veteran signal-caller removes any immediate quarterback controversy during the regular-season grind. By framing the unit's struggles as a shared responsibility, the coaching staff places the emphasis on execution across all 11 offensive positions.

What to watch: Brissett will continue taking first-team repetitions through the rest of this week's practice schedule.
