What happened: Mike Vasil holds a slate of informal clubhouse titles: The Wizard, Assistant to the Assistant Hitting Coach, and The Vibes Guy.

Why it matters: Vasil carved out a clubhouse role during his Tommy John rehab and supplied pregame energy ahead of a winner-take-all Game 5 earlier in October.

What to watch: Offseason roster and coaching staff updates continue following the conclusion of the 2026 postseason.
