What happened: Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor and running back Fluff Bothwell are listed as questionable, per Pete Thamel. The Bulldogs could also be without two linebackers on the defensive side.

Why it matters: Availability in the backfield shapes Mississippi State's offensive game plan entering the matchup with LSU. Taylor previously drew national attention when RGIII tabbed him among the top Heisman front-runners earlier this season.

What to watch: Subsequent availability updates ahead of kickoff against LSU will determine whether Taylor and Bothwell take the field.
