What happened: The officiating crew issued matching penalties to both players as a result of the brief interaction.

Why it matters: Both guards operate as primary offensive options for their respective lineups. Mabrey recently connected with Isabelle Harrison for a basket during an ESPN broadcast, while Mitchell recorded 16 first-quarter points against Toronto earlier in the schedule.

What to watch: The league office will review the interaction to determine if fines or further disciplinary actions are warranted.
