What happened: NBC resurfaced LeBron James' all-around showing in the Paris 2024 Olympic semifinal. The note promoted Tuesday's NBA Tipoff between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Why it matters: The matchup opens the 2026-27 schedule with James in a Philadelphia uniform against an Eastern Conference rival. The Paris reference sets his Olympic two-way form as context for his role with the new club.

What to watch: Tuesday's tip sets the opening-night baseline before both clubs move into the first week of the season.
