What happened: The corresponding transaction followed the signing of cornerback Rasul Douglas. Bellore had served as a core special-teams contributor.

Why it matters: His departure removes a veteran presence from the upcoming 2026 roster. Washington must redistribute his special-teams duties during camp.

What to watch: Washington will begin integrating Douglas and adjusting its special-teams rotation when camp opens.
