What happened: Washington will have its top overall draft selection available for Wednesday's game against Cleveland, per ESPN's Shams Charania. Dybantsa missed the first four games of the 2026-27 regular season before being cleared after entering the day listed as questionable while three teammates were ruled out.

Why it matters: Dybantsa's arrival bolsters a shorthanded Washington rotation looking to bounce back from Monday's 110-103 road loss to the Charlotte Hornets. He steps directly into a matchup against a Cleveland team coming off a 127-125 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.

What to watch: Wednesday's contest marks Dybantsa's first regular-season appearance, while the Cavaliers travel to State Farm Arena next to face the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday at 8:00 PM ET on NBA TV.
