What happened: Washington cleared AJ Dybantsa for Wednesday's regular-season matchup in Cleveland after listing him as questionable on the prior injury report. The team announced the upgrade hours before his first NBA appearance, following an absence that began with the season opener against Milwaukee.

Why it matters: The 2026 top overall draft selection joins a Washington rotation that navigated the opening week of the 2026-27 campaign without him. Integrating the rookie gives the Wizards their centerpiece prospect on the floor against an Eastern Conference opponent.

What to watch: Tipoff between the Wizards and Cavaliers is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7:00 PM ET, before Cleveland visits Atlanta on Thursday at 8:00 PM ET.
