What happened: Washington upgraded two-way center Felix Okpara from questionable after an illness put his Friday status in doubt. Head coach Brian Keefe confirmed the rookie is ready for active duty. AJ Dybantsa (left ankle sprain), Tristan Vukcevic (left hip impingement), and Jamir Watkins (left ACL surgery) remain sidelined.

Why it matters: Having Okpara dressed preserves frontcourt depth while Vukcevic sits out early in the 2026-27 regular season. Both clubs enter Friday's matchup undefeated following double-digit opening-night victories.

By the numbers: Washington (1-0) beat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-116 on Oct. 21, while Toronto (1-0) routed the Chicago Bulls 135-92 the same night. Three Wizards players remain out on the injury report.

What to watch: Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET in Washington as both teams look to move to 2-0.
