What happened: Ohio State enters Saturday's game against Oregon with its postseason positioning on the line. The No. 12 Buckeyes host the No. 23 Ducks in Columbus at 3:30 PM in a pivotal Big Ten matchup. A victory keeps Ohio State in control of its path toward the College Football Playoff.

Why it matters: The Buckeyes face heightened urgency after losing starting quarterback Julian Sayin in October, narrowing their margin for error down the stretch. A second conference loss would jeopardize Ohio State's bid for the Big Ten Championship Game and weaken its standing in the national rankings.

What to watch: Kickoff is set for 3:30 PM on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. The outcome will shape the Big Ten title race heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
