What happened: No. 12 Ohio State designated Saturday's top-25 matchup at Ohio Stadium as a "Scarlet The Shoe" game, featuring color-rush all-scarlet jerseys and pants. The combination marks the first time the program has paired its traditional Buckeye stripe with an all-scarlet base. Oregon will wear its white, silver, and black uniform set for the contest.

Why it matters: The alternate threads arrive for a marquee Big Ten clash carrying major postseason implications in Columbus. Ohio State previously wore monochrome scarlet during its 2024 postseason meeting against Tennessee. Ohio State hosts Oregon looking to protect home-field positioning in the conference race.

What to watch: Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Ohio Stadium, with national broadcast coverage on CBS.
