What happened: Mike Garafolo reported that procedural and timing reasons delayed Parsons' placement by one day. Green Bay opened camp with Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave, Javon Hargrave, Aaron Banks and Kamal Hadden on the PUP list.

Why it matters: Active/PUP status would keep Parsons out of practice while allowing him to participate in other team activities. He previously disclosed a meniscus procedure and targeted a nine-month ACL recovery timeline.

What to watch: Tuesday's transaction wire should show whether Parsons is added before Green Bay begins camp practices Wednesday.
