What happened: Green Bay finalized its Week 8 game statuses on Wednesday with seven players carrying injury designations into the short-week matchup against Carolina. Across the field, the Panthers also ruled out three starters on their final injury report.

Why it matters: The short-week attrition tests depth on both rosters as the Packers and Panthers match top passing offenses at Lambeau Field. Both clubs enter on one-game skids while holding early NFC playoff positions, with Carolina in the No. 4 seed and Green Bay holding the No. 7 spot.

What to watch: Kickoff is set for Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7:15 p.m. CT on Prime Network, with final inactive lists due 90 minutes before the game.
