OUT for the Panthers Thursday night against the Packers: - Jaelan Phillips - Torricelli Simpkins - Akayleb Evans - Damie Via @JamesPalmerTV on X

What happened: Phillips (hamstring) and Evans (triceps/knee) were both listed as non-participants on Monday's practice estimate before being ruled out for Thursday night, per James Palmer. Lewis will also miss the game after carrying a questionable designation earlier in the week.

Why it matters: The decision sidelines Phillips for a second consecutive contest after he was inactive for the Panthers in Week 7. Both clubs are looking to rebound on a short turnaround with NFC playoff positioning in play between No. 4 Carolina and No. 7 Green Bay.

By the numbers: Carolina sits at 3-3 (L1) following a 43-13 loss on Oct. 25, while Green Bay stands at 4-3 (L1) after a 20-17 defeat on the same day.

What to watch: Carolina and Green Bay open Week 8 on Thursday night, Oct. 29.
