What happened: Carolina elevated the running back from the practice squad Wednesday. The move restores Tre Tyus after his Oct. 6 waiver during the bye week.

Why it matters: Carolina adds backfield depth and return experience for Week 7 preparations. His prior stint included work that helped close the win over Philadelphia.

What to watch: Game-day inactives will show whether Tyus dresses against Tampa Bay.
