What happened: The Carolina Panthers selected wide receiver Chris Brazzell II from Tennessee with the 83rd overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Brazzell, who transferred from Tulane two years ago, posted over 1,000 receiving yards last season. The pick bolsters Carolina's receiving corps.

Why it matters: Brazzell brings size, hands and body control, pairing well with QB Bryce Young in the end zone. Panthers aim to improve their passing attack heading into the 2026 season. Adds depth amid reactions noting potential WR focus.
