What happened: The New Orleans Pelicans opened travel toward Los Angeles following their recent home stand. The departure comes after a 115-109 defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Why it matters: The result brought the team through nine games of the 2026-27 regular season while facing an early Western Conference deficit. Finding consistency away from home is critical to stabilizing the rotation during a crowded November slate.

What to watch: New Orleans will open its road stop in California seeking to snap a one-game slide.
