What happened: Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. said postgame that he is praying for linebacker Kendal Daniels and expects him to be fine following Sunday's on-field injury. Penix's remarks followed head coach Kevin Stefanski's statement that early medical updates on Daniels were positive after an extended stop in play. Penix also briefly visited the medical tent himself during the contest before returning and confirming afterward that he came out of the game healthy.

Why it matters: Atlanta's linebacker depth is already stretched after the team placed Yasir Abdullah on injured reserve on Oct. 11 and signed Bralen Trice to the active roster on Saturday alongside elevated defender Drake Jackson. Daniels had carved out a role on the unit after working through calf tendinitis in late July and earning praise from Stefanski for his training camp discipline.

What to watch: The Falcons will provide formal updates on Daniels' status when the team releases its first practice report of the week on Wednesday.
