What happened: New senior defensive assistant Mike Pettine has not been visible during media viewing periods at Dallas practice the past two days. Dallas hired Pettine to support defensive coordinator Christian Parker.

Why it matters: Dallas sits 2-3 with league-worst EPA allowed per drive. The move tasked Pettine with fixing the last-ranked defense before Sunday's game.

What to watch: Watch whether Pettine is on the field at practice Friday and where he works Sunday.
