What happened: Speaking on NFL on CBS on Thursday, analyst Prisco stated that a quarterback's caliber is defined by how he handles rough stretches and that Drake Maye has answered that test. The remarks follow Prisco's Oct. 12 assessment crediting Maye for his resilience across the prior two weeks.

Why it matters: Evaluations of Maye have shifted since September, when a Sept. 10 game-ending interception and uneven early-season outings drew national scrutiny. By Oct. 21, analyst breakdowns had pivoted to highlighting his touchdown execution on film and effectiveness from a clean pocket.

What to watch: Maye continues his 2026 regular-season campaign in Week 7 looking to build on his October rebound.
