What happened: Adam Schefter reports the Las Vegas Raiders are now on the clock for their second-round selection on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. The pick comes shortly after Round 1 concluded Thursday night. Live coverage highlights their roster needs at edge rusher and cornerback.

Why it matters: This selection could address key defensive gaps after a 6-11 finish in 2025, impacting their 2026 playoff push. Historically, Day 2 picks have yielded stars like Raiders' own Maxx Crosby in past drafts.

What to watch: Watch for Raiders trade rumors or selection of elite defender. Round 2 action continues through evening.
