What happened: The Boston Red Sox shared a lighthearted late-night post to their social account. It came on the heels of the club's 6-2 road win over the Mariners.

Why it matters: The good mood reflects a strong opening to Boston's current road trip. Banking road wins early helps the Red Sox keep their footing as the regular season grinds on.

What to watch: Watch whether Boston carries the momentum through the rest of the road trip.
