What happened: Declan Rice spoke about facing West Ham, telling reporters the East London club "gave me everything" and that "without West Ham, there's no me." He credited David Moyes, Slaven Bilic, and Manuel Pellegrini, noting Pellegrini made him captain and that the club gave him a chance when Chelsea did not. The comments come ahead of an Arsenal-West Ham fixture in the Premier League's closing stretch.

Why it matters: The remarks land days after Rice helped Arsenal reach their first Champions League final in 20 years, and they reinforce his standing as a senior voice in the Arsenal dressing room. With three matchweeks left in the Premier League title race against Manchester City, Rice's tone — gratitude rather than provocation — sets the emotional frame for a fixture that carries title-race weight for Arsenal and survival-window context for West Ham.

What to watch: Watch Rice's role and reception when Arsenal face West Ham, and whether the Champions League final preparation affects Arteta's rotation across the final three matchweeks.
