What happened: Helton appeared with his family as Colorado held the statue ceremony Saturday. Fans packed the area for the unveiling.

Why it matters: The event gave the Rockies a rare celebratory home moment during a difficult September stretch. It also put a franchise landmark in focus as Colorado tries to regain footing in the NL West.

By the numbers: The Rockies entered the weekend after another Padres series loss, and the Dodgers and Padres are 42-10 against Colorado since 2025.

What to watch: Colorado is scheduled to return to the field later Saturday against Seattle in Denver.
