What happened: Buffalo brought players together for the Sabres Foundation Golf Tournament as the club reconvened ahead of camp. The charity outing served as one of the team's last offseason group events before on-ice work begins.

Why it matters: The event lands just before training camp opens Sept. 16, making it a natural reset point for the roster. It also arrives after Buffalo's busy lead-in to camp, including an eight-year extension for Noah Ostlund.

What to watch: Watch for camp roster decisions and any remaining roster business as Buffalo moves from offseason events to on-ice prep this week.
