What happened: Italian forward Samuele Inacio is in the final stages of agreeing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 2008-born striker has started three matches for the club and scored his first professional Bundesliga goal in his most recent appearance.

Why it matters: Dortmund have built a reputation for developing young talent, and tying down Inacio early protects the club from rival interest as he breaks through. Securing a teenage forward already producing senior goals is a meaningful piece of squad planning ahead of the next campaign.

What to watch: Watch for the official club announcement confirming contract length and any release-clause figures, plus Inacio's role in Dortmund's remaining Bundesliga fixtures.
