What happened: John Schneider said the club views its active and practice-squad players as one working roster. Seattle expects personnel movement to continue during the two weeks before the regular season.

Why it matters: The broader pool provides ready replacements for injuries and weekly roster needs. Continued turnover could change the depth chart before the opener.

What to watch: Waiver claims and the first practice-squad signings will determine how Seattle fills out that group.
