Non-conference records against Power 4 teams SEC 10-2 Big 12 6-7 ACC 6-11 Big Ten 4-10 Mountain West 1-9 American 1-12

What happened: Big 12 teams are 6-7 and ACC teams 6-11 against Power 4 opposition outside their own leagues. Big Ten teams are 4-10, the weakest mark of the four Power 4 conferences.

Why it matters: The SEC is the only Power 4 conference with a winning record in these games, and it has played the fewest (12). The ACC has taken the most losses of the four with 11. This is the same SEC 10-2 mark reported a day earlier, with the Mountain West and American now one loss deeper.

By the numbers: Power 4 conferences against each other: SEC 10-2, Big 12 6-7, ACC 6-11, Big Ten 4-10. Others against Power 4 teams: Mountain West 1-9, American 1-12, MAC 1-17, CUSA 0-9, Pac-12 0-12, Sun Belt 0-15. CUSA, Pac-12 and Sun Belt have no wins.

What to watch: Conference schedules now account for most remaining games, so these records will move only through postseason matchups.
