What happened: Skylar Diggins moved into sole possession of 7th place on the WNBA's all-time free throws made list, passing Hall of Famer Tina Thompson with her second made free throw of the night. The milestone continues a steady climb up the league's career charts for the veteran guard.

Why it matters: The achievement underscores Diggins' durability and consistency at the line across more than a decade in the league. Passing a foundational star like Thompson, one of the WNBA's original franchise cornerstones, places Diggins firmly among the most productive scorers in league history.

What to watch: Watch whether Diggins keeps closing on the next names ahead of her on the all-time free throws made list as the 2026 season continues.
