What happened: The Chicago Sky are publicly campaigning for guard Skylar Diggins to earn a spot in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, urging fans to cast ballots through the league's voting portal. The push comes as the first returns of fan voting begin to circulate around the league.

Why it matters: All-Star selection carries weight for both the player and the franchise, serving as recognition of Diggins' standing among the league's guards and raising the Sky's visibility during the 2026 regular season. A campaign of this kind signals the organization sees a real path to the roster for one of its veteran leaders.

What to watch: Watch the subsequent voting returns to see whether Diggins climbs into the top tier of guards before the ballots close.
