What happened: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Ted Hurst in the third round after he ran a 4.42-second 40-yard dash. The team reportedly has a specific offensive role planned while he develops.

Why it matters: Hurst's 6-foot-3 frame and speed give the passing attack a distinctive physical option. His continued playmaking in camp supports meaningful snaps when the regular season begins.
