What happened: Houston signed defensive end Chris Braswell to its practice squad on Thursday as part of a series of roster moves. The transaction comes one day after the franchise waived him on Oct. 14. Houston also released linebacker Kenneth Murray in a corresponding move.

Why it matters: Retaining Braswell on the practice unit preserves pass-rush depth without occupying an active 53-man roster spot. Originally selected 57th overall out of Alabama in 2024, he landed in Houston this autumn after being released by the Buccaneers in August.

What to watch: Braswell is eligible for standard gameday elevations from the practice squad as Houston prepares for its next regular-season contest.
