What happened: Cody Campbell addressed Texas Tech football on social media following the Saturday matchup against Cincinnati, stating that there is no excuse for the showing. He added that the Red Raiders have to be better moving forward.

Why it matters: Public criticism from a prominent donor places extra pressure on the locker room and coaching staff during the season. Handling frustration behind closed doors allows the roster to focus on football corrections rather than external noise.
