What happened: The Detroit Tigers beat Seattle 7-3 for their fourth consecutive victory, improving to 26-38. The streak comes as Tarik Skubal prepares for a rehab start Sunday.

Why it matters: Detroit remains five games out of an American League wild-card berth despite its slow start. Continued gains could affect how the club approaches Skubal's return and potential trade discussions.

By the numbers: The Tigers are 26-38 after four straight wins and sit five games behind an AL wild-card spot. They scored seven runs in Saturday's 7-3 victory.

What to watch: Skubal's rehab appearance on Sunday, June 7, will provide the next test of his health. Detroit's results before the trade deadline will shape its roster direction.
