What happened: Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 to even their second-round playoff series at 2-2. Edwards led the charge in a Mother's Day win he dedicated to his late mother, Yvette. The series now shifts back to San Antonio for a pivotal Game 5.

Why it matters: A 2-2 deadlock resets the series as a best-of-three, with home court back in San Antonio's favor. Game 4 also featured a Victor Wembanyama ejection that altered the Spurs' rotation late. Minnesota avoided a 3-1 hole that historically ends postseason runs.

What to watch: Watch Game 5 in San Antonio, where the Spurs reclaim home court and Wembanyama returns from his Game 4 ejection. Edwards' usage and the Spurs' response to losing their anchor minutes will set the series tone.
